I tried to subscribe to your blog via email but it wouldn't open up.
Love your photos, love your horses. (I have 3 horses, and 2 rat terriers.Live in central Iowa).
Curious about what you use for camera, and lens and stuff.
I just found your site and have only skimmed thru.
Thanks.

Lori,
What a great project for the weekend. I'm driving up to Evanston, Wyoming for the Bear River Fest. Saddlestrings will be playing. I will shoot with abandon. Have a new camera, a Nikon D7000....and 18 - 200 and 70 to 300 lens. I'll see if I can dig out my old Nikon wide angle in the attic. I'm just learning how to use my MacPro...and editing and filing pictures has become a real task for me...I just don't understand it. Next week I
have a class at the Apple Store to sort things out. I keep losing files and it takes me
hours to find them. I must not have the downloader settings right as it doesn't give me a place to name my files.

I just finished a new song, "Ghost of The Mission Santa Xaiver del Bac" and I'm very pleased
with it. I hope to find some pictures I can use with the recording to make a picture movie with song. I think I may need to do some sketches of things I can't find to
photograph to tell the story. My brother was just there at the mission so I do have
photographs of it.

Your photos are so wonderful, I am in awe. They really tell their own story.
Hope to meet you some day. If you are ever out this way you'll have a place to
bunk.

Creativity rocks!

Seeing these refreshing visions of the desert make me fall in love with it all over again! The sun setting behind the cholla is my favorite-such extremes of beauty and such harshness balanced out for the image.

Each of these is a work of art unto itself. Love the saguaro hearts, the cholla blossoms, and the little catepillar, but, hey! I love all of these! Quite the Gallery! Would make great cards!!
